Chelsea

Went to visit a relative in Chelsea & Westminster Hospital this afternoon but got stuck in the Chelsea crowd on the bus to Putney on the way home which was diverted and moved at about 1 mile an hour. When we got back to Whitton station at about 8.00 pm decided to have a couple of glasses of vino and a risotto in Cafe Venice - very nice and put the smile back on our faces. Good old Whitton - it's nice to be home.See More

Local health centres

We had a letter through our door today with "Important news about your local NHS services".  I opened it thinking it would contain news about the facilities at the new health centre in Percy Road. But no, it contained details of our other 'local' health centres in such nearby places as Croydon, Hook, Clapham Junction, Mitcham, Parsons Green, Tooting and New Addington.  According to the leaflet the nearest NHS facilities to Whitton would seem to be Teddington and Roehampton.I would have thought…See More
